AS #4 is the fourth release of the Otazu Artist Series, conceived by the artist Alfredo Jaar, a limited edition from D.O.P. Pago de Otazu (2016 vintage, 900 bottles). A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (82%) and Merlot (18%) whose grapes were selected by hand in our vineyards qualified as D.O.P. Pago de Otazu. Complex and fine, with a fresh, persistent finish. In a terroir of limestone soil, of singular climate and landscape, a harmony emerges between the varieties that brings out the endless nuances of this place.

WinemakingHand-harvested and hand-selected in October 2016 in the Pago vineyards, it is micro-vinified in 225-litre French oak barrels and undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrel with lees stirring twice a week, spends eighteen months in extra-fine-grain French oak and rests a minimum of eighteen months in bottle, finally yielding 900 bottles.
