Genios de Otazu #2 – Pablo Armesto

Wine made from D.O.P. Pago de Otazu certified vineyards. The grapes are harvested by hand, ensuring a meticulous selection of the best quality. After the harvest, the wine undergoes a complete vinification process in 225-liter French oak barrels. This method brings complexity and unique nuances to the wine. In addition, malolactic fermentation is carried out in the same barrels, a process during which the lees are gently stirred twice a week to enrich the wine with deeper flavors and a smoother texture.

Pablo Armesto (Schaffhausen, Switzerland, 1970) is a painter, graphic designer and creator of installations and public art who works challenging the boundaries between science, technology and art, using all the resources at his disposal in a creative way. When designing the label and box for this edition, Pablo Armesto decided to create a heart with an ink that glows in the dark, transmitting the sensation of being a unique object and adding light as a fundamental element in his work.
