AS #3 – Hector Zamora

Sold out

AO 3 was realized by Mexican artist Héctor Zamora (Mexico City, 1974) following his performance Movimientos emisores de existencias, which took place on February 23, 2019 at Otazu’s Sala de Barricas. This piece involved eight workers from the winery who, together, stepped on unfired clay pots from the Otazu terroir. They have left their imprints on them.

In the label design, Zamora uses the Otazu territory to reflect man’s interaction with his land. It is a label that speaks of the past, of the present, but above all of the future, on which, for each of the 900 bottles, he and the potters have stamped their hands stained with clay from the pots.
