1Ha. Una Historia. Chardonnay 2020

Each bottle tells a unique narrative, expressing the best of our terroir and our passion for art.

Made with grapes from our Viña Urrutia vineyard, this wine expresses the nuances of a calcareous clay soil with Atlantic influence. Harvested and selected by hand, the grapes are gently pressed and then fermented in small ovoid-shaped concrete tanks, where they remain for 6 months in contact with their lees.

The 1Ha. Una Historia is composed of a series of single-varietal wines from single vineyards with an extension of only one hectare. The project was created together with photographer Jordi Bernadó, who combines in each label the most relevant characters of the winery’s history with our landscapes.

In the photograph, Pachi Urrutia, an Otazu worker. Third generation born and raised in this place, his world, from which he has never wanted to leave.
